Released today (October 9), this twisty new track comes after the release of RIOT’s first single “Dog In The Shade” in August.
Both songs were produced by Mat Corby and his long-term partner Alex Henriksson, and RIOT lead singer JD said: “[Henriksen ] Really can glue together our disconnected pieces.”
In a press release, the band explained how the song blended together in “cheap beer and weed” all day long. JD said: “It all starts with the impromptu guitar you hear at the beginning of the song. , And then everyone puts in their own spices.”
Shared anger, unity, and political disdain kept members Taylor and Scotty with JD.com as the latter tried to expand the fence in the music venue one night.
JD stated that people’s common interest in music is not defined by a specific voice or era.
